Privacy Policy

What we collect when you request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2 Legit Pool Service LLC ("2 Legit Pool Service", "we", "us") is a family-owned pool service company in Scottsdale, AZ. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, phone calls, and text messages, how we use it, and how you can control it.

The short version: we collect what we need to quote your pool, service it, and stay in touch about it. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

01

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a quote form, call, text, or email us, we collect the information you choose to share. That typically includes:

  • Your name and the name of anyone else authorized on the account
  • Phone number and email address
  • Service address, gate or lock instructions, and pet notes
  • Details about your pool — size, surface, equipment, spa, and current condition
  • Photos or messages you send us about your pool
  • Billing details, such as the last four digits of a card and billing ZIP code (full card numbers are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us)

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages you viewed, how you arrived, and how long you stayed
  • Cookie and similar identifiers — see our Cookie Policy for the full list

Information from other sources

We may receive your contact details from a referral source you used to reach us, such as a review site, a neighborhood group, a property manager, or a real estate agent coordinating service on your behalf.

02

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Prepare and send your quote, usually the same day
  • Schedule your weekly service day and assign your technician
  • Send visit reports — chemistry readings, work performed, and a photo of your pool
  • Contact you about access issues, equipment problems, or repairs needing approval
  • Invoice you and process payments
  • Keep service history so a technician covering your route knows your pool
  • Improve our website, routes, and service quality
  • Meet legal, tax, insurance, and licensing obligations
  • Respond to reviews, referrals, and support requests

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has a legal effect on you, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

03

Text messages and phone calls

Quotes and weekly visit reports are sent by text because that is what most clients prefer. When you give us your phone number through the quote form, by phone, or in person, you are agreeing to receive service-related texts and calls at that number, including messages sent with an automatic dialing system.

  • Service texts include quotes, appointment confirmations, visit reports, and repair approvals.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service — we will call you instead.
  • Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with your service schedule.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

We may keep a record of calls and texts for quality and dispute resolution. If a call is recorded, we will tell you at the start of the call.

04

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — scheduling and routing software, texting and email providers, payment processors, accounting, and website analytics. They may use your information only to perform work for us.
  • Subcontractors or licensed specialists brought in for a repair we do not perform in-house, limited to what they need to do the job.
  • Property managers, HOAs, or homeowners when they are the account holder for the pool we service.
  • Professional advisors such as our accountant, insurer, or attorney.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our clients, our crew, or the public.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.
05

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand which pages people find useful. Our service-area map loads tiles from a third-party map provider, and our fonts load from a third-party font host, so those providers see your IP address when a page loads.

The full breakdown, including how to turn cookies off, is in our Cookie Policy.

06

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, then delete it or strip it of identifying details.

  • Quote requests that never become accounts: up to 24 months, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back.
  • Active client records, service history, and visit reports: for the life of the account and up to 7 years after it closes.
  • Invoices and tax records: as long as Arizona and federal tax law require.
  • Website analytics: typically 14 months in aggregated form.
07

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards for a company our size: encrypted connections on our website, password-protected and access-limited accounts for our scheduling and billing tools, and a payment processor that handles card data so we never store full card numbers. Only the people who need your information to do their job can see it.

No system is perfect. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Arizona law.

08

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
  • Delete information we no longer need for service, billing, or legal reasons
  • Stop texting or emailing you, or stop contacting you altogether
  • Send a copy of your service history to you or to a new provider

Email or call us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are before making changes to an account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state privacy law — tell us which state you are in and we will honor the rights that apply.

09

Children's privacy

Our services are sold to adults, and our website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10

Links to other sites

Our site links to review platforms, social media, and equipment manufacturers. Once you follow a link, that company’s privacy policy applies instead of ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes for current clients will also go out by text or email.
